London started looking ahead centuries ago when they build the London barriers, they functioned greatly and prevented plenty of floods, however this technique has gotten old. England must find a new way.
This Video is a BBC documentary of the sea level rise and its aftermath.
This documentary adresses many aspects of the future:
- what will happen when the sea levels rise?
- where will people live?
- How many countries are prepping!
- How architects and designers are building flood proof housing
Although some people are alert of what may be occur-ing yet some refuse to take actions.
This short video i found on youtube, describes the future of London, by including very hight sky scrappers and plenty of building around the River. This unthought action could be quite dangerous for the future. I believe the exact opposite is what should occur, people should now start looking at living on water for their safety.
This next short video points out if enough is being done to protect London from the threat of future flooding caused by climate change.
